Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Preview (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use this development / preview project and related Google OAuth sign-in flows.

What this project is

Preview is a non-production project used for Google Cloud OAuth consent-screen requirements and development testing. It is not a consumer product and is not intended for general public use beyond that purpose.

Information we collect

Google sign-in (email only)

Preview uses Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address so we can identify your account for login. We do not use Google sign-in to collect browsing history, contacts, files, or other Google account content.

We request only the Google scopes required for sign-in (typically openid, email, and optionally profile). We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services.

We do not collect anything other than your email for login purposes. If a profile name or picture is returned by Google as part of the standard sign-in response, it is used only to display your account in the preview app and is not sold or shared for advertising.

Technical data

Hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in and operate the service securely. We do not use this for advertising or cross-site tracking products.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and maintain your session
• Identify your account by email during preview / development use
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the preview project
• Respond to support or privacy requests

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising, data brokers, or AI model training.

We share information only in these limited cases:

• Service providers: Infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare) host this site and may process authentication-related records on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Google user data

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide sign-in for this preview project, is not used for serving ads, and is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes.

Data retention

We retain account email / authentication records only while needed for the preview project. When you delete your account (where that option is available) or request deletion, we remove your user record and related authentication data from our systems.

Your choices

• Revoke Google access: You can remove this project’s access at Google Account permissions.

Children

Preview is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date above.
